6 Troubleshooting

STift will issue a warning when the connection to your Android is lost. If this happens, follow these steps:

• Make sure your Android is close to your HRM
   
• Check if the status of the Connection Bridge app is Active. If not, restart the app.
   
• Check the IP address set in STift. This should correspond to the IP displayed by Connection Bridge on your Android.
   
• Restart STift and connect again.
   

If you are using STift on a multitasking system, STift may leave its screen on the Atari desktop when you switch apps. To avoid this, run STift in single mode. Most modern desktops (I use jinnee) will have an option for this.
